NHMP Complaints Procedure

Social Media Posts

Social Media

Notting Hill has a robust Complaints Procedure a copy of which is available to download on this website or can be obtained from Reception.  Patient are encouraged to discuss, either formally or informally, any issues which they might have with their treatment in the Practice.

The use of Social Media to make derogatory comments about either our services or individual staff members will not be tolerated and may result in the immediate removal from our Practice List.

We regularly monitor all posts on social media and would encourage any patient to screen shot and or inform us of any such negative posts.

Private Referrals

Please be aware in line with guidance to us from the Health and Social Care Strategic Planning and Performance Group (SPPG), we have been advised the information below is printed on all our private referrals.

  • That any medications recommended are used in line with BNF and NI formulary
  • That any Red or Amber drugs are issued from a private prescription from yourself as NI Shared Care Guidelines only apply to NHS practice. The same applies for medications used off license.
  • That requests for blood tests or other investigations are organised within your service and managed/ followed up by you.
  • That you make any onwards referrals to both private or NHS colleagues.
  • That the outcome of the consultation and any subsequent investigations or treatments are communicated promptly back to ensure the GP record is complete.
  • That there is a clear mechanism for follow up and that the patient is aware of this.

We hope adhering to these will reduce the time we and our staff spend dealing with queries and hence improve access to GP services to all of our patients.
